When you are in Alicante, the Monte Benacantil is not to be missed. This is a high hill with the Castle of Santa Barbara, worth a visit. Dénia
Dénia is one of the oldest cities on the Costa Blanca. Dénia used to be an important fishing village with a large marina. Nowadays, Dénia is a more modern tourist resort with a long coast, especially popular with water sports enthusiasts.
If you want to see more culture of Dénia, the castle is worth a visit. In this castle there is an archaeological museum where much can be seen about the city's history.
